Privacy policy

wen.poker is a free, play-money poker site for friends and groups. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we keep only what the game needs, we never sell it, and we never handle payment information.
What we collect
- Your display name. The name you pick, shown to other players at your table.
- Account details, if you make an account. Your email address (email sign-up), or the basic profile Google or Telegram shares when you sign in with them: name, email or username, and an account ID. We never see your Google or Telegram password.
- Game records. Tables you join, hands you play, chip results, tournament finishes, and the seeds used to shuffle each hand (so anyone can verify the deal was fair).
- Chat messages you send at tables, tournaments or in the global chat.
- Tournament responses. If a host asks for payout info when you register (like a payment username), that text is shared with the host.
- Browser storage. A small sign-in token and your table settings (sound, card style and so on) are kept in your browser so you stay signed in.
What we don't collect
No payment details, no bank or card numbers, no real money of any kind. Chips have no cash value. We don't use advertising trackers.
How it's used
Only to run the game: seat you, deal hands, keep score, show your history and stats, run tournaments, and let hosts see who registered. Hosts see the names and any responses of players in their own tournaments.
Who else handles it
We use Vercel to host the site and Supabase to store data and handle sign-in. If you sign in with Google or Telegram, they process that sign-in under their own privacy policies. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Account and game history stay until you ask us to delete them. Hand records may be kept so past hands stay verifiable. Payout responses collected for hosts may be removed after the tournament ends.
Your choices
You can play as a guest with only a name. You can change your display name on your profile. To delete your account and history, contact us and we'll remove it.
